Fox bang too quiet ?

Hey guys , I have a foxpro firestorm and bought it used a few months but not sure if I lost the manual or never had it.
Anyway , I set the foxbang but when it turns on after I shoot it goes super quiet.
Is there a way to make it louder ?
I'd like it to be on Max volume when it kicks in if I can.

You can set the sound that you associate with Foxbang as loud as you want it. Just follow the directions for setting preset number one and make it as loud as you like.

Thanks Al !
Think I figured it out last night.
I wasn't aware that you could set a column to a preset , thanks again for the help .

get ready for lots of unpleasant foxbangs when the remote touches your gun, a zipper, a rock, pocket lint, the air, etc lol......

I would suggest setting foxbang to the "lowest" setting..

If you shoot and it doesn't go off, then change it, and raise it one level at a time until it works the way you want.

Good luck.

I may be wrong but I think this fellow was talking about how to set the volume on the preset 1 associated with Foxbang. He was not talking about the sensitivity settings.

I had a very cool experience with the foxbang on the 18th.I had a coyote come in and she got right to the decoy without giving me a shot, I missed her at about 40yds. as she is running away across the field the foxbang kicks in and she stops broadside at 125 yds where I dumped her. my sensitivity is set to medium and the volume to near max, I'm shooting a 22-250. love my fury2 !!!! don

I have had good luck with f0xbaNg. You can set if off easy if you aren't careful but IMO it's a good tool for coyote hunting.Originally Posted By: donlynchI had a very cool experience with the foxbang on the 18th.I had a coyote come in and she got right to the decoy without giving me a shot, I missed her at about 40yds. as she is running away across the field the foxbang kicks in and she stops broadside at 125 yds where I dumped her. my sensitivity is set to medium and I'm shooting a 22-250. love my fury2 !!!! don

come to think of it, I have it on the lowest setting on the crossfire and it didn't go off last time I fired. I'll have to up it. Beats the heck outta listening to pups in distress every time I cough though LOL

Testing my new Shockwave the other day I set the sensitivity to "high" and clapped my hands together to test if the Fox Bang would go off. It worked after a second hand clap. I had it set to preset number 1 which is setup to play a coyote puppy sound at about a 20/40 volume setting. I'll set the volume up higher before going hunting. But I was in my back yard and didn't want to disturb the neighbors too much by setting the sounds louder.

Most popular calibers work well with the sensitivity set to medium. That being said, you should set it to suit you. If it engages properly when you shoot, you are set right.
