This last week I just received my new FoxPro CS24. Reading through the instruction manual and I find nothing on Presetting my 10 favorite sounds as they advertised. I've been able to Preset 1 sound but I am struggling to figure out any more. I've gone on the FoxPro website and cannot find any instructions there either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The Tx-500 provides you with quick access to your favoite sounds and volumes with the push of a button. The Tx-500 can hold a total of ten indivdual sounds presets, each one having their own unique volume level. Yyou will also find two quick-accsess buttons (P1 And P2) that provide you one- button access to the sounds stored on presets one and two.

Creating Presents
1) Press the PRESET button and hold for approximatly 3-4 seconds to enter set prest mode. You should see SEL SND/VOL on the top line of the TX-500 display.

2) Use the volume up/down buttons to set the desired volume level.

3) Select the desired sound by using the rotary selector knob to highlight it on the screen and then depress the selecter knob one time.

4) To lock the selected volume and sound in, depress the desired number (0-9) for that preset on the keypad. When deressing the number buttons, this exits you from set preset mode and you are now in the preset mode.

5) To add another preset, follow steps 1-5

Playing a Preset
1) Briefly depress the PRESET button one time to enter preset mode.

2) Depress the desired number of the preset you wish to play. Make sure that you have preset in place prior to attempting to play it. The chosen preset should play immediately.

Thanks so much for the help guys.

Hammer I did not look under the Fury manual. I do not understand why FoxPro does not print these instructions in the CS24 manual under the TX500 section???????

I just got back from a hunt here in Iowa even though the snow was crunchy and the coyotes probably heard my approach. I had to call cross-wind, I set my CS24 40 yds in front of me pointing toward the cover which was 300 yds away. I had a 15mph cross-wind. The CS24 performed great, the volume and clarity of this unit is amazing. I did not call in anything but crows but I did get a good feel for the unit!!!!

Coyotechet,

Thanks for the info. FoxPro decided, when they sent me my CS24 manual, to leave out pages 8-15. Why, who knows, online they do not have a CS24 manual. Another member suggested checking out the Fury manual for this info.

Thanks again!!

rlmortvedt, I'll bet if you call foxpro and tell them what happened they will not only walk you through the process if you want but send you a manual as well. After they send you the manual let me know I'll tell you how much the bet was for!!

youngdon,

FoxPro I know would help me, they are the greatest when help is needed. I think the guys above have given me what I need. I will go out to the FoxPro/Fury manual website and print off the pages that are missing from my manual.

Thanks again guys!!!!
