foxpro did not deliver my sound pack

On Dec.1st, 8:01 pm I ordered a 16 sound pack for $25.00, paid for by credit card... received an email from foxpro with a "16-Sound Pack " link.... when I clicked on the link I got this message......

""Sorry, You have already Downloaded Soundpack. If You have any Questions Please Contact Foxpro Administrator. ""

""Sorry for the Trouble.""

I sent them an email immediately and have gotten squat !!!

[WTGDF] !!!!!!!!!! Ripped off again !!!!

The problem is the ZR6 I just purchased does not have the sounds I need and Now this !!! I am seriously considering returning the thing and getting my $450.00 back !! That way I'll only be $25.00 in the hole !!
 
and you haven't bothered to call them or follow up with another email? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif Did you think to leave a pm for Joe, Mike or Steve at the Foxpro site?
 
I think you should give them a call, sounds like something went wrong,better to talk with someone on the phone than by email and you might get more done, (as my momma used to say)with a little honey instead of vinegar.
 
Did you only try to download the file once?

The problem a lot of times, maybe not yours, is that guys will download it at work or something, not realizing that programs are in place to keep folks from making multiple downloads and spreading the cheer to there buddies.

I'm sure with a simple phone call, pm or a follow up email all will be handled.

The 1st was saturday they wouldnt be in the office until today to handle this, did you call them? I seriously dought they would risk a good reputation of ripping you off for 25 bucks. Just give them a call and they should be able to fix you up. I had trouble downloading sounds from them once they fixed it and I have no complaints.
 
I also had a slight problem when ordering sounds. I was never sent the download link. I called left a message and within an hour I had a call back and the problem was solved.

he even called back and made sure i got the link.

Great customer service.
 
I ordered a sound pak that would not download called Joe he sent it out in a different format had me working in a few minutes. You really need to call them I'm sure they will fix the problem. You are the first unhappy FoxPro customer I've ever seen /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. Good Luck Chris,
 
ok... think, think, think... SAT. the 1st SUN. the 2nd and then we have today, the 3rd MONDAY... they are taking orders online, and over the phone, not only from us little guys who order one call, or one sound pack but from large retailers ordering 100 units at a time.... not to mention the fact that with 25 NEW sounds they are also taking orders from those who already had a caller and are upgrading sounds as well. They got your order today, and sent you the sounds... thats GOOD turn around...

then you have a problem.. so you emailed them.... now your email is at the BOTTOM of a pile of emails that had been recieved between your "8:01 pm" email Saturday and whatever time you had emailed them today to tell them about your problem. lets say the got 20 more orders Saturday night, 75 all day Sunday, and 30 today before you mailed them. That puts you 125 emails down .... just give them a resonable amount of time to get back to you before thinking you got screwed. They are great people with some of the best customer service you will ever find.... They will be sure you didn't get screwed... but please keep us informed...

Man, some people are wound tight! If that's your biggest worry in life, consider yourself a lucky man! I'll bet if you gave Foxpro half a chance, they'd straighten it right out...
 
If you read a couple of posts down you will see that foxpro posted they are having phone problems. I would call and find out what happened and I know they will fix your problem.........

All you have to do is give them a call and they'll fix it.
The foxpro folks are good people, but they do get overwhelemed by the demand some times.

Personally I think it's a cheap shot sending one email and claiming you got ripped off. [beeep].

Well, my plans for calling this weekend were shot to hell, I'd taken Monday off work also, I guess that's why my post turned out the way it did... I was steamin' hot..

Here's the story... Sat. noon, sacrificed my $$ went & bought the ZR6 I had on layaway @ Sportsmans Warehouse, later that day downloaded the Foxpro Programming Utility from the site and previewed all the sounds , kinda hard to hear most of the sounds with the guy narrating something so painfully obvious I just clicked on, it took numerous listens to pick out 16 sounds... The website claimed instant downloads for credit card payments...
Got an email within minutes with the download link claiming I had already downloaded the 16-sound pack !!!! burrrrrnnnnn!!!!!!!!!

I immediately emailed them and have had no respose through the end of Monday.

Going back to work Tuesday, calling on the phone is out of the question, cannot use cellphone on jobsite, when I get off work, foxpro is closed, (due to the time difference) I won't be able to contact them by phone, so email is only option, hopefully I'll here from them by Fri if not, I'll have another weekend with a useless e-caller, I'd sooner return it and spend the money on something else... beer !!!!!
 
If you have a designated download folder on your computer you might want to look there... could be the files are waiting for you. I can't remember the file suffic but Foxpro has their own special file type along with mp3 files. Do a search for files downloaded on Saturday. May not be there but you never know... strange things can happen on a computer! LOL

There are tons of mp3 files online that you could have downloaded to your caller for free and still gone hunting!

I think I would have been upset too but I wouldn't have let that ruin my hunt!

The Foxpro folks are just that Pro. Just a thought use the suggestion that nikonnut suggested. If you are using any windows operating system. Just go to search and look for files. Type in *FXP and see if they aren't on your computer. Good luck.
 
Well, what can I say !!!! other than I'm a complete blithering idiot... Man this has been a humbling experience.... I shall explain if you guys are still willing to listen....

Got a call friday on the way home from work... seems the ol' gal that cuts my hair has a couple wolves attempting to devour her precious doggies, not too far from where I reside...
High alert !!!... got new gun all ready.. pick up e-caller... buy some snowshoe hare and wolf sounds... call boss-take day off work... ...then I totally and completely screw up.... You guys still here ??
Upon receiving the link from foxpro that didn't pan out, I simply lost it in the heat of things, took off in a rush to shoot a wolf... alas...extremely high winds with frigid temps on Sun & Mon.

Needless to say, I was pissed and the link still did not work , posted in the heat of the moment without regard as to what really occured...

When I emailed the sales dept. at foxpro I did not type in the "go" .... when I emailed Joe , I typed in joe... follow me ??? checking my chit I came across a few " failure to deliver email" msgs in my inbox....

Yous'e guys are bar none the most loyal customers I have ever come across and I am at your mercy, for I am not worthy !!!!

"Foxpro" please accept my apologies for my behaviour and posting in such a crude manner... same goes for all you guys, I have sinned..... (I was kidding about the beer, though) hopefully this "chaos" will be resolved shortly and we all can be friends.. dang it, I want those wolf pelts...
