FOXPRO for the Macintosh user... Mr. Dillon?

I want to buy one of the new remote FoxPro units, but I use a Mac. I have USB ports, but from all that I've read here on the forum- the USB sounds like it will only work for a PC based computer.

So- should I be looking at the 416's with a PG1A programmer instead of the new FX3?

I'm thinking that way I can use my old studio digital dat recorder to build a library, and bounce sounds in and out with the PG1A programmer.

I can download sounds off the web and convert them to any file- wav. mp3, etc. and then digitally transfer them to my dat recorder. I guess from there the signal will go analog into the FoxPro PG1A, unless it has SPDIF or some kind of digital inut which is doubtful.

Anyone know about this?... Mike Dillon?

Hi Pat,

As long as your MAC computer has a USB port, you are ready to go. Mac users will also be able to download sounds directly into the FOXPRO. I hope this helps! Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks!
