Foxpro Foxbang

I turned mine off as I was accidently banging my remote a lot and turning it on when I didn't want to. My first preset is what I use after I shoot a coyote and that is pup distress.
 
^ What they said. When I first got my shockwave I came home around 1am after calling all night and went to put down my remote and pup distress #3 came on at volume 30, dogs went nutts. Forgot to turn the caller off. Have had it off ever since.

Ideally i'd love to use it but if you knock the remote it goes off.
 
Even if you set the sensitivity just right, it can still go off if you drop your remote against your gun stock. I have the User Button set to access Coyote Death Cry at high volume. Easy to locate and punch.
 
I do the same thing here. I set my presets so that what I get a shot it takes me about a second to set off the sound I need after the shot
 
I turned mine off. Even on the lowest setting (or highest? whatever is least sensitive) it would tap against my handcall around my neck and go off.
 
Mine is always on. Before I turn the caller on I make sure the remote is off by simply pressing one of the arrow keys. My remote is then strapped to my thigh while calling. About once or twice a year I forget and it goes off by accident so I just let it run and get ready to shoot. It's just as effective as any other starting sound. Pup distress!
 
Have always had it on pup 3 at half vol, but recently changed to chirping coaxer at 3/4 volume. haven't had the opportunity to see if it can pull one back in who did a fly by or a double in yet. Pup 3 has pulled many back in for me that I was unable to get on during their first pass for one reason or another. I am unable to leave well enough alone..........or if it aint broke.........then break it.

couldnt figure out why the heck my call kept going odff when i was walking to pick it up.... turns out like others have mentioned when it hits the calls it goes off. ended up turning it off and just changed preset 1 to my coyote distress.
 
Killed a triple using it Saturday. I have set mine off on accident a few times. Just have to be careful how you handle it. It's a great tool that has frequently gotten me doubles, triples, and a quad once.
 
Yes I always have foxbang turned on and I have it set to the coyote death cry sound. I used to have it attached to a lanyard that I would wear around my neck but even on the lowest setting the remote was always banging into something and setting off foxbang at the wrong time. Now I have an eberlestock bino harness and I put the remote in the back pouch of the bino harness and don't have that issue any more. In the below picture you can see the top of the remote and the antenna sticking out of the rear pouch of the bino harness.

I have fox bang on all the time and have it set on pup distress. I used to wear the remote around my neck but it was getting set off to often by accidentally bumping my stock amoung other things. More than once the remote bumped something and set it off as I was putting the call out which will really pizzes me off. I NEVER turn the remote on until I am set up and ready to call. Quite often the remote turns on in speedy yote vest pocket too so I am always very careful but imo it works too good to turn off.
 
Coyote death @ max volume

Funny story from last month. Hunting with my buddy, he got set up while I put out the call and my decoy. I got back to our hiding spot, decoy wasn't working...so I went to check on it. Turns out a wire broke. So I head back again and get settled in. Trying to slowly chamber a round quietly, somehow I got the rifle all jammed up. Finally got that taken care of and turned on rabbit distress on 25% volume. That's when I accidently bumped the remote against my riflestock and activated foxbang. Got that muted fairly quick and looked over at my buddy, shook my head and chuckled. Got the foxpro back on rabbit distress and look up, 4 coyotes coming in lol
