Kudos' to FoxPro for awesome and FAST support creating FOXCAST sequences!
My new Crossfire was purchased from APC as I wanted some custom sounds added (and also grouping/ordering them the way that I wanted). APC had free shipping too, but since it was a custom order, I didn't get the 6 preloaded "expert" FOXCAST sequences. Darn it...
So the next day I sent an e-mail to FoxPro -- and less than 5 minutes later, not only did I get the 6 sequences I wanted, I got 4 or 5 more! Awesome support from FoxPro!
Then today, while I could have manually typed in all those sequences (which would have been tedious), I used the online FOXCAST Sequence File Generator -- and that was awesome too! In no time, I had variations on 9 of their sequences (as I added a few volume steps and used some of my sounds, if I didn't have the exact one they used), and one I built of my own based on three different Snowshoe Rabbit (aka "Varying Hare") as we have those here in Maine.
Here's a hint, you don't need to use the FoxPro Programmer to "add sequences" to your sound list, as they technically aren't "sounds". Your PC sees the FoxPro Call as a memory device and you simply copy your sequences (in the right format, ending with ".seq") onto the device and you should see them listed along with all calls on it in the folder. (Then you do need to synch to the remote though.)
I can't wait to put these sequences to use in the field, and since I've just added a FOXGRIP 2 as well (to control my AUX for the Mojo Critter), I'll be "hands free" of the larger remote when using FOXCAST. That will be awesome!
I am SO pleased with the support I got from FoxPro -- did I use the word AWESOME yet?!?!?
Thanks FoxPro!!!
