If volume is all you want the SP-55 will easily do the job, I have one and it is plenty loud for anything!!

Wow, I will second that! I just got one last week for my FX5 as I had the same trouble--getting the sound out in the winds we have to deal with here in Kansas.

Haven't take it out yet, but tried it in my basement the other night and it about made my ears bleed! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif The sound was very clear at high volume, no distortion that I could tell.

Very reasonably priced, too--got it off the FP website!

Good Luck!

When I first got my FX5 I ordered a SP-55 speaker to get more volume. On about the 3rd or 4th stand I made with the FX5 and the SP-55 speaker, I realized how great it is to have the caller front speaker and the SP-55 speaker so I can point two different speakers in the two different directions I choose. Every stand that I have made these last two seasons have been with the SP-55 along with a FX5, Scorpion or Fury. I have the volume on full blast over 90% of the time and the coyotes and bobcats come right up to the caller and SP-55. In these pictures you can see how I have the caller and the SP-55 speaker pointed in two different directions.

In this next picture I was calling off of a small rocky ridge that was only about 200 feet high with miles of flat ground on both sides of the ridge. You can see in this picture how I had the SP-55 speaker and the FX5 caller set out. The SP-55 speaker gives you more volume but it also gives you the opportunity to send the sound from the two speakers where you want it to go.

Wow what great pictures. Mike at Foxpro might just buy those from you for advertisement. I hope most of those dogs died a quick and easy death, at least from that range they should have.

If I remember right there is a picture showing dirt flying from a shot in another picture that goes with this one. If so you need to show these guys that picture also.
