Foxpro Inferno vs Western Rivers Game Stalker pro

Looking to buy an electronic caller this weekend, Have narrowed it down to the Fox Pro Inferno and the Western Rivers Game stalker pro with decoy. The western rivers seem to have alot more features for about the same money and alot more calls on it, I know I wont use them but it saves me from having to use the computer to put calls on one. Just wondering if anyone is using a Western Rivers and how its working out? I know the foxpro is a good call but just looking for honest opinions. Im hunting in northern Indiana if that makes any difference also. Thanks

I have no experience with the WR callers. I did just purchase the new Foxpro Banshee. It has the same remote as the Inferno and I can tell you it is incredible. I tested it out to 280 yards and it work flawless. That was over 2 blind hills, 2 blind turns and countless trees. Inferno comes with 75 sounds. My Banshee came with 100. I can not see needing any more ever? If I did get more it would be a want thing and not a need?

I had a western rivers and it was loud and the features were nice but the sound quality left alot to be desired. I don't know if mine just wasn't functioning properly or what but when I tried to get it fixed I had a hard time getting through to anyone and not it sits in storage while my FoxPro gets the attention. Remote range kinda stunk too. Over all its not a bad call and I'm sure it works but I think my FoxPro is a better caller for the money

Thank you for the advice, I know all the features are nice but Im new to the sport really and just want a good, simple call that will last me a while and have good sound.

I want the same things in a call that you do. The features on my FoxPro are amazing but all in all it is easy to use and works no matter what I do to it.....I work my calls in the worst weather and they get hundreds of ours of use in these conditions without fail. I couldn't ask for more out of them. I have three buddies around here that I have taken out this year for their first times and they all went out and got new FoxPro calls and I have not heard anything but great remarks on how user friendly and effective they are

The new Inferno and Banshee are really nice ecallers, both using the new TX915 remote. All the tests have been impressive. Just don't buy the Inferno thinking it will match the Banshee. The Banshee has a much bigger amplifer and is powered by ten aa batteries. It will last much longer in cold weather if you are calling a lot, especially using a lot of volume. You can always play it at lower volumes but it has the power if you feel you need it. Either call is good, but different.

The Banshee is simply awesome. I'm sure the Inferno would have met my needs here in NY. HOWEVER, power and clarity of the Banshee along with 25 extra sounds is amazing. I had mine custom programmed as many of the sounds in the stock unit are of no use to me here in NY. NOW I have a full 100 sounds that I can use to my advantage.

Well, I went with the Inferno. Picked one up last night! Playing around with it, getting used to how it operates. Seems to do everything I need in a call and sounds good! Thanks for all the advice!

Not being familiar with the Western Rivers caller, I did a Google search for reviews. You can't always go by reviews but if there are a lot of negatives there must be a reason. I found 3 reviews on Cabelas, all one star out of 5. I think you made the right choice here but I'm a bit biased since I just got an Inferno recently. So far, I'm very happy with it.

I bought the inferno, as a back-up for my firestorm. have not used firestorm since. I have an external speaker I like lots of volume. used it 3 hrs last night 4 degrees no problem. it has accounted for many. good luck. i charge my batteries when done for the day.

Iv had a few different call brands and I'm on my 5th foxpro. Started with FX3,then firestorm, then Fury, then shockwave, now back to a crossfire( basically the Fury with updated technology on the remote). Foxpro has incredible support and customer servic. They make it so easy to update and load aounds
