Foxpro "must have" sounds for red fox?

I recently aquired land to hunt grey fox, after visiting it this weekend and talking to people I also learned that there are red fox there as well. I know the #226 Scream-n-grey fox sound is a "must have" sound for the greys, my question is, Is there a "must have" red fox sound I will need?? I've never hunted fox of any kind, so any info you have will be greatly appreciated.

Reds are not as bold as greys so that being said, bird sounds are really good for reds as alot of the cottontail sounds...Reds like a high pitch up beat sound

...I have heard alot of people say that reds dont like sounds loud, but every red that Ive called in came into a loud caller when I called them in...I play all of my sounds pretty loud...I have killed alot of both reds and greys over the years but I can honestly say that I have not used one sound that targets reds only from a FoxPro...This year I have taken several reds and believe it or not most of them came into Jack Rabbit distress...As for the scream-n-gray sound I can honestly say that when I turn that sound on Im most of the time going to see a grey but I have called in and killed coyotes with it as well...My opinion is this, if a red fox is in the area he will come to the call if nothing else but curiosity gets the best of him...Good Luck...

Just shot a red a couple weekends ago.

I had just shut off my caller and decoy for a break and caught him coming in. He didn't like it when I started the decoy up again and took off. He looped around again after the caller came on but eventually headed off. I never had a clean opening.

I switched my caller to Red Fox Pups and he immediately turned and ran all the way back to my caller. Over 100 yards. And gave me a perfect shot.

Lucky Bird and Cal's Cotton Tail Distress are a couple other favorites.

Hey chad thanks for the insight as the foxpro forum under the eastern regional entries show that you for sure know what you are doin bud. Nice mix of some fur there.

Not exactly...I have had blown opportunities at grey fox and then turn on one of the red sounds like red fox rally and called them back in...
