FoxPro Spitfire no sound

Just curious if anyone had an answer for me on a Sunday as to what would cause a 2 week old Spitfire to suddenly no play an sound. Put new batteries in remote and caller and still no sound. Hunted last night and call worked great however got set up this morning and nothing. Plan on calling FoxPro tomorrow morning but was just hoping that maybe i could get it figured out in time for and evening hunt. Thanks in advance

Most likely:
1. Speaker is turned off (check the switch on unit)
2. Verify the micro sd card is fully seated. Push it once it will pop out, push it again and it will lock in place (access it via the access panel on back of caller / not the battery compartment).

Speaker is on for sure. Two black switches on the side are both slid to the right like each time i use it. I popped the memory card out and put it back in several times because that is what i thought the problem was. I don't think the card is being read for what ever reason. It is seated and locks in no problem. No way one could put the sd card in the wrong way because it appears to only go in one specific direction. Very frustrated as to why for no reason it would just have no sound.

This morning before heading out for the first sit of the day my cousin who was hunting with me was inquiring about the call and where the sounds are stored. He has an old Johnny Stewart corded caller w/ cassette tapes so he was amazed when i popped out the micro sd card and showed him. I put it back in and off we went. Then after setting up i turned on my fox jack decoy, that worked, and then sent the call to the unit from the remote and thats when i realized there was a problem. Spent the rest of the day trying to figure it out with no luck

Sounds like a remote issue or sd card. I would take the sd card out of caller, put it back in, connect patch cable from remote to aux. port on caller, turn remote on and follow instructions on remote. If that doesn't work call Foxpro.

Coladriver,

If you have not already done this, please call in here to FOXPRO right away. Seems to me like it is the SD card and not anything else. I say this because you had no problems until you separated the card from the unit and placed it back inside. To reach the Service Department here at FOXPRO the number is: (717)248-2507 and select option #2 for Service. You will speak with either Joe or Scott and they will get you fixed up!

Sounded to me like he had the problem, then pulled and re-installed the card trying to fix the problem? Which it didn't fix.

Either way, by now I hope he got it fixed or did call the service department as was advised.
