FoxPro X360

Ok has one or plan on getting one? If coyotes were my sole money maker and I had a little more muscle and money I “might” seriously think about it. Think I’ll just continue saving for an MFK X24, even though I really don’t need one of those either.

At $1500 and 12 lbs.... it's not anything that I'm interested in. I do not ever see myself wanting one. It might sound great to us, and maybe it sounds great to a coyote, but my Fusion and X2s callers seem to work just fine when I do things right up to the point of pushing the buttons on the remote.

I agree. I wonder what they were thinking whenever they were designing it?

Icotec guy here and happy after 3 Fp's
Bad experiences with the FoxPros Mike, or just wanted to switch things up? Just curious.

My Fusion and X2s FP’s have been solid outside of glitching out when in the vicinity of cell towers. The new 360 isn’t anything I’m interested in. Hell, I never wanted a Shockwave because of the size and hinged speakers which seemed like the weak point.

I know a group of local guys that pooled their money together and bought a x24, Revolt/Super Revolt (can't remember which), and a Knight Stalker all together. After a few months of using them they decided that the LuckyDuck was their favorite so they sold the x24 and Knight Stalker. Whenever I asked what they liked about the Lucky Duck over the x24 they said sound quality and easier to load sounds. They also said that "their" coyotes responded better to the Lucky Duck.

Bob, Fx3 then fury 2 then fusion. First 2 excellent. I know most dont have range issues but my Fusion, no range at all. Very unreliable past 20y if sitting on the ground (fury2 had no problem at 80) and i feel one should not have to carry a tripod for the call. They replaced remote to no avail. Sent back immediately and was told it was fine that i hust needed to elevate it. I took 3 arrows and cut them to 18” and coupled them with castration bands to make a lightweight tripod and still had sporadic results even though l added 8’ of wire to the internal antenna. When ico came out with the nightstalker+ i have not looked back. Tested the remote to past 400y and quit there.
Some of my other reasons to change brands was for ease of programming and different sounds, everyone here runs foxpros. That is why i do a fair amount of mouth calling.

Not to hijack Spur’s thread, but now that you mention it, my fusion was a bit finicky if I placed it downhill of me. Certainly more than 20 yards was achieved, but it definitely was less than when on flat ground. I wouldn’t set it more than 40 or 50 yards downhill. Line of sight and on flat ground, both of my callers were solid out past 100 yds in testing. Agree on the tripod. I did rig up a flexible leg short one but it was mostly used like a snowshoe of sorts to keep the caller on top of the snow.

Electronics definitely have a mind of their own. My Fusion has worked flawlessly for about 10 years. I regularly set the call at up to 75 yds. just sitting on top of the call bag that came with it. My partner has an identical call and identical results. Seems some units are just flubs from the beginning.

Not a chance im buying that cinder block. Not to mention the price... get real.

Disappointed in Foxpro on this one for sure.

You guys can cuss it all you want, but personally I've been waiting for something with this sound quality. I'll pack the extra weight for the better sound. For years I have thought that the one thing lacking in all call brands I've listened to was sound quality. Its been proven that most e calls will call coyotes. Some coyotes. I personally believe that better sound will call more coyotes, and more educated coyotes. So far my experiences with the 360 have proven this to be true.

If my sole source of income was coyote/cat removal it might be a good investment providing I didn’t have to walk 300-400yds to set it. Every property/geographical location is different, so it might make sense for some folks.

I just bought an X360 yesterday. Charged it up this morning and loaded some of my MFK sounds to it. The thing it big but the audio is insane. So many features. We don’t venture too far from the truck where we hunt and it comes with a nice carrying strap. Can’t wait to try it out soon.
