Cerberus Co. wants to sell Freedom group after the school shooting.

I would hope no one buys any of their guns / products until after they sell the company. Cerberus doesn't deserve any of the sportsmans hard earned money. Here is a list of the companies under Freedom Group.

REMINGTON ;BUSHMASTER ; REMINGTON MILITARY
REMINGTON LE ;MARLIN FIREARMS ; H&R 1871
DAKOTA ARMS ;TAPCO ;DPMS / Panther Arms
PARKER GUNMAKERS ;BARNES BULLETS ; ADVANCED ARMAMENT
PARA USA ; REMINGTON PMPD ; MOUNTAIN KHAKIS

So none buys their products...then what? We put all of our fellow sportsman, working for said companies to produce in factories. And those working the retail stores, to sell these products. Then they're out of a job, not hunting for them. I like where your heads at, as in, standing up to cooperate greed and corruption, but there is a much bigger picture here.

Actually a major investor in Cerebus wants them to sell all holdings in Freedom Group after the Connecticut Shooting... The California Teachers Pension Fund.

How ironic that the California Teachers Pension fund would have holdings in an Assault Rifle manufacturing firm. Guess with Diane Feinstein (D) California wanting to renew the assault weapons ban, they think guns is not a good place to have their pension fund stashed.

The companies are running scared, afraid of getting sued. Sooner or later, if someone has ANY connection to a gun that is used in a crime, that person will be sued or even worse face jail time.

Living minutes away from the Remington factory in Ilion, and hearing about the terrible QC policies in place post-Freedom Group, it is probably a boon for someone else to run the show. Maybe a firm with some pride in their product will take over, although I greatly doubt it.

Look at the good that came out of the crap that S & W went thru the Clinton years. Might be a good thing to see all those gun co's divested and competing independently again also.
