Freq calls

I don't own one, but as someone else mentioned in the other thread, the reviews haven't been that great.

I thought I remembered reading that the new FoxPro calls are supposed to have high frequency ability?

Only caller I have is an old iphone with a free program. Haven't gotten anything called in yet. BUT. I've designed several ultrasonic devices. Dogs have higher freq hearing and that kind of sound is very directional and absorbed by foliage/air. Most use piezo transducer for the sound. That is one of the cost elements. Other is the high freq decoder chip (probably is PWM the piezo). Plus it is a power hog. Freq uses a 'horn' to match air impedance (efficiency thing). I'm sure some of the cost is to recover initial startup costs and extra Ad stuff. But dogs do hear higher freq sound - and at long distance may be more curious than a loud lower freq sound.
So - IF it calls more yotes, cost may be allowable.

Does any one here own one of these calls. If so what is your honest opinion.
I have one. Im not convinced it works as advertised. I have killed coyotes off it. I haven’t noticed any reaction to it differ from any other call. It’s lack of sounds it comes with and thus new sounds they’ve added is really lacking in the vocal department, it is getting better. The construction of it i really like. Good battery life. It’s not a very loud call where i am its windy 85% of the time, so that is important to me. I would not buy it again, after using it.
