Check out this full Ghillie suit from North Mountain Gear.
Honestly, ....it doesn't mimic any of the flora where you demonstrated the suit. If you sit perfectly still behind a bush or a downed tree, as you did in the demonstration, any conventional camo will work. You want to disguise your form and "blend" in. I would have looked for something that was primarily varying shades of green leaves, then you can sit right out in the open and look like a bush.
I will be wearing this in the fall when the leaves and flora are mostly dead. That’s why I went with the brown instead of the green. I’ve had the same thing happen without a ghillie. I’ve never deemed it a necessity for hunting purposes to wear anything more than good camo. To each their own.I’ve had deer walk past so close I could touch them. Amazing what a good ghillie suit is capable of.
