I had a very informative conversation with Steve Dillon yesterday and he said the a aware of the issues with the fury and that they are able to remedy most of them at the present time.He also said that I'm going to be very impressed with the caller when it comes back,I have no reason not to belive him so I cant wait....... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I am impressed with mine even with the couple little problems I've had! Make sure to let me know how it works when you get it back.

I have never owned an e-call before and jumped in with both feet and bought the fury.I noticed a few glitches while getting to know it, and the first trip out they continued showing up. I contacted foxpro and was told that my unit had the software version 1.1 which I guess is the old version. They told me to ship it back in and they would upgrade the entire unit and make sure it was working good.I overnighted it to them on Mon. and they called today and said they had fixed everything on it that I had said was wrong plus I was informed that as of today they had just recieved new style on-off switch which has to be held down for 3-4 seconds before unit is turned on. Since that was one of my gripes(unit kept turning itself on),I told them to keep unit an extra day and install new switch. It will be shipped back to me tomorrow overnight and I should have it back in time for Sat evening hunt.GREAT SERVICE!!If you guys are having trouble with your new fury check the software version and if it is 1.1 they will upgrade it for you and they claim this will take care of all the problems most people are having with these units. Good luck!

I'm happy to report that the Fury worked near perfectly all weekend about 20 hrs of total use in two days, temps from 30 to 5 degrees.I changed the batteries once just as a precation not because they were low.
The farthest I had the caller out was about 200 yards and no problem with range.

The one issue I had happend a few times was that the remote when changing sound would show 3_ _ 16 then it would go blank.I had to turn it off then back on again.

i think that is should send mine in here once the dogs start whelping. i sucks that i have to but sounds like a lot of my frustrations will be solved (can they fix my jeep too ???:) )

Well I got my fury back today and played with it a short while and it is a sweet machine now. You defineatly have to hold the on switch down for several seconds now or it will not turn on. The remote is very responsive now! Can't wait to get out this weekend and give it a real try out. If yours is acting up and has old software version still on it, send it in. Well worth it.

when you turn yours on which software does it says it has, mine says it has 2.1 on it, also how positive are the clicks on your rotary switch?? it would be nice if the clicks where alot more positive mine seem to jump around alot

The new version is 7.3 The rotary switch was replaced with a new model which has to be depressed for several seconds before it will turn on. No more taking the unit out to use and see it is turned on by itself. I am not sure if the whole rotary knob was replaced or not, but the clicks now have a positive stop or indent you can actually feel now. Mine was real bad when I sent it in. It was so loose moving you couldn't click on a highlighted subject as it would move on you before the knob was actually depressed, and then it is start all over again. It seems to be real responsive now also. Well worth sending in.

so when you sent it back does you have to resave your sequences?? thats one thing I noticed on my switch, is it sometimes switches sounds just as I go to press it, other times it will skip multiple pages when I am scrolling. probably something I will take care of during the summer.

I didn't have any sequences on it and I am having a huge problem trying to get any on. Defineatly want to send it in, the new selector switch is real real nice. I have a real nice unit now, if I could just figure out how to get the seq on it. I did have some non fox pro sound on it and it came back to me just as it was when it left as far as the sound go. Good luck!

OK, I took out the fury over the weekend and it worked absolutely flawless. Foxpro people helped me figure out the sequence stuff, I loaded some on and went hunting. The unit with all the upgrades worked perfectly and we called in coyotes sat evening and our light failed us so came home empty, but went back out this morning and called some more in and brought some home. So couldn't be happier. If you have the new fury and are having troubles with it, Don't hesitate, send it in and let them do their magic. It was well worth it.Good luck.

Friday evening first set, and the Fury did it for us again. I got a real pretty male songdog in the first two minutes.Saturday and four sets later we wern't so lucky, but I WILL BE BACK!! The fury is working flawless and we now have 6 sequences downloaded and they seem to be working. Thanks to the fox pro people, what a great call.
