Interestingly- to me...
The lower volume cone speaker is much more natural sounding, and is full range accenting both low's and highs, whereas the horn speaker is much more focused on the upper mid range.
This is why I think it they compliment each other so well. Both played together fill out the frequency spectrum pretty well.
