Major Question? Im new to calling and am interested in purchasing an electronic caller. From what i can tell the folks around here seem to favor the foxpro caller.
Is this the best out there? Im concerned about being limited due to no tapes or cd's. I've also looked at a dennis kirk caller. whats the best out there in your opinion.
I call upon the wise and knowlegable masters of this wounderful place i call home to please provide some answers.
Thank You Lance

Crapshoot, I thought about moving this post to the Electronic calls forum , but decided to leave it here instead as it might recieve some good responses here as well.
I would advise that you post it there also as well as there are a bunch of guys who might give you some good advice on the more technical aspects of your question.

However to answer it from a calling stand point, I use and reccommend the Foxpro with remote.
I don't think that not having tape or CD capability is a negative thing, I personally could live with about 3 or 4 different sounds that are on my unit and never feel undergunned in the sound dept.
I have also been playing with the Phantom caller and there are some things I like about it as well.

It has a very good crow medley that I will use in conjunction with a dying rabbit sound, or even along with the dying crow from my foxpro at the same time.

If you don't want to buy two calls you can start the crow sound and then chime in with a mouth call at the same time.
These are just a few things that have seemed to work especially well in areas that have already been hit hard by previous hunters.
