Anyone know where I can get some good feedback on a good game camera that can take lots of pictures and need extremely long battery life maybe something that could be converted to 12volt. I need 20 of them right now so if anyone has personal experience or knows a website that rates them let me know

second the chasing game, while there check out the ScoutGuard 550, I've been looking at that one, If you guys have seen any of the work Tracey Truman does on the other site[CRU] you might like all it offers.

I can honestly vouch for the ScoutGuard cameras, they are pretty dang good. I have three CuddeBacks (2 Excites, 1 No Flash), and one ScoutGuard. The SG preforms just as well as the no flash at literally half the price.

The battery life is better than expected as I have taken about 250 pictures on less than a 1/4 battery life, and it runs on AA's which if rechargables are used will save you some money in the long run.

Picture quality is great during the day. You can choose between 3mp or 5mp, take 1,2 or 3 images per instance or a 1-60 second video. I haven't tried the video feature yet, but there are several on youtube if you want to see some. The night photos aren't great, but comparable to the no flash CuddeBack.

The size is a real benefit, ultra-compact and light-weight.

In fact I just placed an order with Tracey yesterday for three more (two for friends).

Take a look at the camera at http://www.scouting-cam.com/scout-guard-series.html.

I have a Moultre(sp?) Game Spy 4.0i, it is my first game cam. I traded a scope for last March and I love it. It doesn't eat batteries and takes nice pics with an infrared flash at night and really clear pics during the day. I had it out for a full month and had 432 pics and still had 80% battery power left. It had tons of memory left over and I was really impressed with how well it works. It also has a laser aiming system(worthless during the bright sun). It displays the date, time, temp, and moon phase. It takes movies and has still pic settings of 1 min, 5 min, and 30 min(I think I'm right on the times, I have it out at the ranch right now so I cant check it). Here are the specs:

I also got a killer lock box from here:

This box is the bomb, check them out. It is really well made. I have pics of cattle using it as a scratching post and I'm pretty sure it saved the camera from serious bovine damage.

I just got a moultrie D-40 a couple of weeks ago. Had the first opportunity to play with it over this last week. The trigger speed is a little slow, but seems to do well when pointed the direction you expect the animals to come from. Here's a few pics from it.
