Should have been 7 lol. We hit up a new spot my buddy found and it's safe to say we'll be back. Target rich environment. It's always a good time when you can get 4 coyotes in your view at once, and 4 should have gone down on that stand but we each missed one. Enjoy

My 243 failed on this second one, my buddy had to put it down.

I think your use of the term “Target rich environment” is accurate. Great night for sure! Thanks for sharing the hunt.

A REALLY good night by my standards--BUT NOT NEAR AS ENTERTAINING AS THE MOUSE SHOOT FROM A FEW YEARS BACK-I still think about that every time you post and chuckle.

Haha, thanks guys, yes the mouse killing was fun but trapping is cheaper than primers lol.

I put this post together while my wife was driving us to visit our daughter at school, it took me about 100 miles with the spotty cell service and figuring out how to post the videos, so I'll elaborate a bit more now. The first spot we set up was a couple hundred yards from a dead pile. We'll be figuring out how to stake that spot out some night. The two we missed, his miss was bad timing on the countdown and I shot first and I'm sure the other one flinched a bit, and my miss was just lack of patience and shanked it, I'm betting to the left but I can't tell by the video. I had a couple stovepipes with the 243 so I dug into that today and cleaned it up really well. I found the extractor spring was shot so changed that out and tested it out, seems gtg now. Shoots pretty well imo. 200 yds, light l to r breeze maybe 5mph.

I was trying to post the videos as a playlist but couldn't figure out how, that's part of what took me as long as it did. Anyone got any tips on that?

I use 'clip champ" (microsoft) it is free. There is a tutorial on utube that is 31min long by 'teachers tech" that taught me.
Don't know if this is what you are looking for but is how I do it. As dumb as I am on these computers, this guy made it fairly simple.
