Yes sir!.. Waiting on a Surgeon 591R with a .062" firing pin hole. I hope it gets here soon!

I am hoping it will shoot.. Ya never know until you get it all together. Do you have any pics of your rig? If so, I would love to see it.. Specs of rifle? Load data?

I decided to sell the Bartlein 1:8 yesterday... I have a Krieger 5R MTU 1:8.5 coming in its place. From what I understand, the 1:8.5 handles the lighter 123's and 130's better than the 1:8 twist.
 
Bob, I think you made a good choice on the twist.
The 8.5 will handle the 130's just fine, and you'll probably pick up a little speed too.
Try some Varget and CCI 450 primers with the 130 VLD's.

I am shooting the 130 vlds out of my 6.5x47 with 41.0 grains of RL17 at 3000fps. That's with a 8.4 twist. I bet you can do 3050-3100 fps with a 8 twist.
