Hey everyone,
I am going to go and try to kill a yote this weekend at my family's farm. I have a fox pro e caller and the fox pro remote decoy. Most of our farms are on fairly large soybean fields that are lined around the perimeter with a 50yard buffer of pine/thickets. I have a couple of questions about what I should do this weekend......Should I try to set the decoy out in the field say 50 yards from where I am sitting in the pine and put the e caller maybe 40-50 yards away from me? How long should I leave the ecaller going? Do you guys stick to primarily one sound or do you mix it up through out the hunt?
We've seen several coyotes while deer hunting over the past few years and this weekend will be my first time to go specifically after them. BTW I will be taking my remington vssf2 in .223 and my buddy will probably have his 22-250 with him. Any advice would be appreciated.
