I have had great service from mine. Started using it with a inexpensive tape player then CD player and a MP3 player the last couple of years. Works great. I added a Nady Receiver/Transmitter a year ago and now it's remote too.
Do a search for "Nady" or "Azden" wireless mics for more info.
I preset the volume on my caller from 1/2 to 3/4. Adjust the audio gain on the transmiter and receiver for max volume wth no white noise. That's a one time adjustment, once adjusted it doesn't get moved. Then it's just a matter of using the source (mp3 player for me) volume to control the volume of the caller.
