Gopher Hunting

Mike,
If you want to go to Eastern Washington, they are all over the Yakima Canyon. Just find some rock slides and get there as the sun is coming up. When they come out to sun themselves, liquefy 'em.

are these [gophers] the same as ground squirrels just a
different name that i see in montana?

The ones in Montana are Richardson Ground Squirrels the ones in Eastern Washington are Beldings Squirrels and run a little smaller but are fun to teach to fly.

knock on some doors up around ulm piskin,just south of GF,april can be a little early for good gopher shootin.

Is ulm piskin a town, can't seem to locate it.
Going out and knocking on doors is kind of what I had planned on doing

Ulm Pishkun is a big buffalo jump/state park just south of GF,go straight south to Ulm and follow the signs,there is a HUGE prarie dog town right on top of the jump but guess what?NO FIREARMS!
