The first is a black coyote I shot last year. It was a little knawed up on the back half so I decided to do just a pedestal mount. It turned out very nice.
The other is a nice big male, also shot last year. For those that have seen my videos, this coyote is the one on volume 3 that I howled in with my wife. It weighed over 45 pounds and had a white tip on its tail. I had it mounted as if were freshly killed and hung by a hind leg. The taxidemist did a fantastic job. I'm going to build a replica of an old corner post with old barbed wire and all, place it in the corner of my office and hang the coyote from it. You can hang this coyote in every direction and it looks extremely real. In fact the taxidermist had several people ask what he was planning on doing with the coyote as it was hanging in his shop drying. They had no idea it was already finished and was just drying.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
