Got my Mega stripped lower receiver in today

As some of you know, I got a new 6mmDTI upper from Mike at Dtech.

I am going to build my first lower. I've been waiting for the Mega with the Ambi bolt catch release. I ordered it on Tuesday from Rainer and it came in today.

Now I need to order some parts to complete it.

Is that a Seekins?
 
It is a Seekins Gen I lower before he started putting ambi bolt releases on them. I will post up some more pics now that I have finished that lower.

The lines don't match up, but the Seekins lower is on the extreme radical end in terms of design. It functions fine and just boils down to looks. I am going to top my seekins lower with either a Seekins upper now that they are slowly starting to show up, or a Mega Monolithic middy upper. Do post pics of your Mega after it is built out.

I will post pics when I'm done, I'm still deciding on a few parts.

This lower will be paired with a 6mm DTI upper that I just received and will be my dedicated coyote rifle. When complete I'm gonna have the whole rifle camo dipped.

I am thinking of maybe a Mega monolithic build for a range/beater/plinking AR somewhere down the road.
 
I am finally going to be knocking out a Mega order in the next few weeks. I have spikes stuff coming in this next week, but will be ordering from Mega soon. I am going to make myself order a few of the monolithic uppers. They are too badass for me not to order.
 
I am considering ordering an upper and lower for a build from Mega. Is the upgrade to their product beneficial compared to just ordering an upper and lower from DPMS or someone like that? I do like the idea of Mega's products, just not sure if it's needed. Thanks for all the info from you guys. Tons to read and learn.

This is a pretty old thread here, but my thoughts are you won't see any real benefit over a regular upper or lower. It's more a matter of personal preference or style.
