Gracey Case trimmer?

I have one, works great if you're prepping a lot of brass. I use a carbide cutter that trims, inside champhers, and outside champhers, in one step. I don't remember the name (Girard?).

I've got one that I use on my medium-volume cases. They work fine, I have had no problems. For my high-volume cases I use the Dillon, RT-1200.

I also use a gracie for my .22 cal cases. All other I hand trim. The gracie is a pain to set up. Once it is adjusted properly you will not want to change the settings. I have one dedicated to the 22 cal. Changing from a 223- a 22-250 is a matter of minutres. Changing from a 22- a 308 is 30 minutes, and usually a case that is cut to short. I like mine and will never get rid of it. Randy

If I remember correctly, when you order it, tell them you are wanting it set up for 223. They will have it ready to go when you get it.

PredatorCaller,

The Gracey is a very good trimmer, but I (personally) think that the Giraud power case trimmer is better. I have owned them both. The Gracey was a little bit more temperamental than the Giraud. The Gracey that I had I bought about 15 years ago, maybe they have changed since then.

Do you have a phone number where I can look into the Giraud trimmer? Now I am confused, maybe the Gracey trimmer has improved. I appreciate all your inputs.

I am trying to decide now what to buy, the Gracey or the Giraud. Both sound like they are quality. I might need some more input on this topic. Thanks everyone.
