Ground Blind???

I think it's a bit too much gear to lug around. I usually only spend 30-45 minutes on a stand. No critters, move a quarter mile.

It's not like deer hunting where you sit in one spot all day. Got to keep mobile.

Just my view, worth 2 cents.

Not worried about having to lug it around. Most of our stands are miles apart. Will have to drive to next stand anyway. Thinking it would be worth it for the concealment and to help with scent control.

Probably would help with the items you've mentioned. Seems it would hurt with visibility and maneuvering for a shot.

Ever consider a ghillie suit? APC has a pretty nice sapper suit on sale, or they did a few weeks ago. If you can set up with something behind you so you're not skylined the suit works pretty well and it's a bound to be a lot easier to wear it to a stand than to set up/take down a blind.
Big-Bore, I'm in Lunenburg, where are you?

Before I got my ghillie and depending on how I was feeling physically, I would sometimes take and use this portable Turkey Blind...

It would allow me to set up in the edge of the tree line along the fields in the river bottom and give me a little cover for moving my legs, or using binoculars without a lot of visible movement available..

It's really lightweight and folds up into a very small bundle, about 18" long..

I am with Old Turtle,I dont like blinds because I cant manuvure if a dog comes in from the back. That said Old T's turkey blind works well if your on the edge of a feild and just dont have enough cover in case you have to shift, they also allow you to work your ecaller buttons with out sir yote seeing the movement, its lite and the sides are open if I need to make a quick move to get at a dog coming in from the side or rear you can.

I agree on the ghillie suit... You can get a poncho ghillie now that may work a little better as far as weight and bulk.
