Groundhog Call

This might be old news to most of you guys, but it was new to me. Earlier today I was out shooting ground hogs. I wounded one on a long shot and he started a distress scream. Within a few seconds of that, there were hogs standing up all over that I didn't even know were in the rocks looking to see what was going on. I got a bunch of them too. After that, I grabbed the Foxpro and played groundhog distress at a different spot. Same thing, but not as many stood up. Not really calling them, but it does make the long shots easier when they are standing.

Hi Stealth,I do the same thing all the time, but I will say my favorite sound for chucks is the calf bleep,it does not make them jumpy,Any farm animal sound will work, they are just so darn curious that they have to stand up and see what is making the noise.I have also called them out of holes using the baby ground hog distress.
