I'm in the market for a new safe and am looking at a Steelwater 39gun safe with dial combination lock. I don't want to have anything with a backup key that I have to store separately.

Anyone have experience with Steelwater safes?

Like my 22 gun heavy duty Steelwater. I have the dial lock and anchored it to 12 in thick poured block of cement. I wanted to raise it up off the floor and anchor it well. Steelwater delivered right into my garage and they build a well made safe. You can't go wrong with a Steelwater.

I decided to get the Steelwater 39 gunsafe w/60minute fire proofing. It comes with interior lighting with outlet for a golden rod dehumidifier. Shipping was free, quite prompt it took 10 days from day of order to delivery and they delivered it right to the inside of my garage and back to the shop. It did take a little for me to get it move into the closet as it weighs 700lbs. bolt hole for the floor are pre drilled and reinforced.

Ordering it directly from Steelwater was $200. less than ordering it from Amazon and the company gave me a Vetrans discount on top of the sale price. I'm a happy camper.

It is a very stoutly built safe.

That’s a nice safe AWS. Great deal on one that stout and delivered to boot. I’ve got a Liberty big boy, it’s nice to get in and out of fast. It’s not built near as heavy as your’s is though.
