Cliftonyte,You can upgrade the card and add more sounds, but the remote will not reconize anymore than 000-199. It is in the software that runs the remote not the caller that gives you the 200 sound limit. as for the batteriesI would just call foxpro and ask if it is advisable before you take a chance and damage your caller.Thank you,J.Weber
