Halal Approved Food in Texas Schools (ISD's)

There is a movement in Texas, of all places, to get Halal approved foods introduced into the school menu. This is an attempt to skirt the anti-Sharia Law BS by back dooring Muslim practices. IMO, ANY school that approves Halal food should lose state funding. That is the only way to get the school bureaucrats attention; cut the funding. Contacting my state representative after work tonight.

65 years ago I went to a public high school that was 76% Jewish. I call that my "How I learned to love Matzah year". One neat thing I got to take the Christian AND Jewish holidays off. I've been lucky that way, when I was stationed in Taiwan I got all American AND Chinese holidays off as I worked with the Chinese army.

Here's the difference between Catholics, Jews and muslims. The muslims want you to submit to them or die.
Look up the word "islam", it means submission. Catholics, Jews, Hindu's, etc... do not want you dead, islam does.
In January of 2026 alone, there were 163 attacks, in 18 countries, by muslims. As a result 676 people have been killed, 420 people have been injured. 4 of the attacks were suicide blasts. Going back to 9/11 there have been 48,960 deadly attacks by islamicist.
No other group is responsible for more mayhem in the world today than islam.
What's happening in America is what has happened to Europe. Unless we as a people put a stop to the islamic jihad coming to our country, we will wakeup one morning wondering why a sword is being held over our head if we don't bow toward mecca.
So, yes, providing halal meals is a big deal....

Devils Advocate.

How much different is this than virtually every school in the country serving some sort of either "non meat" or fish on Fridays during lent?
Because THIS country was founded on Christian values. This country was built on the foundation of a constitution. So, IMO, a huge difference. The muslim community is trying to change our way of life, our values and our religion choices. But go ahead, keep your head in the sand and play "devil's advocate" while the "call to prayer" is playing over loud speakers in your neighborhood.

The call to prayer is 5 times a day. Which is a lot but that's what's done. When I lived in Turkey it didn't take long to get so used to it you didn't even register hearing it. But that was their country, not ours

They have a history of invasion & conquest, they've been doing it in europe & it's well underway here
