Would like some help inhow the bulb comes out of that aluminum round connection on the lightforce. Anyone do it before? The bulb has two prongs going into the fitting but I'm afraid to squeeze them together or pull on them etc. til I know how it is supposed to go in and out because I don't want to damage the bulb. BTW my bulb is good, I just broke another part of the fixture and need to replace it so the bulb has to come out first.Any help please. Rick if you're seeing this let me know. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just pull it out.

Thats what I have always done and it works fine. Its kinda tight, but I think that is how it is supposed to be. The bulb just pushes back into the same two holes when you are done. I actually really like that system, bulb replacement is very easy in the field, no tools required.

Take care,

Todd

Thanks Todd.......

Hi Peter......

The only thing I can add to Todd's responce is to ware cotton gloves or use tussue and pull bulb stright out......

The 2 holes are spring loaded, when replacing bulb use a Firm grip and push in...........it needs to be Level and don't twist the bulb it will break......

If it seems to tight, use a paper clip and bend the shaft end of it and protrude it in the holes a couple of times, to make sure there working.........it will be a Snug fit..

Install the Bulb.............use cotton gloves or tussue to Install......if you touch the bulb,(with Fingers) wipe clean with Achocal...after install...

Install the Globe (Housing) and turn all the way in for the Spot beam........if the beam is not true,(dark Hole in Middle) you may have to pull the bulb out a little for beam adjustment, in Incerments.and try it again untill you have a Solid beam of light in the Spot mode......

When you roll the head out, you will have a Dark hole in the Middle in the Flood Mode.........(Normal) works just Like a Mag-Light......

If you have any problems, Call me.........# 954-854-0444

Thanks Rick and Todd,
I got it back in with no trouble. I just didn't want to make a mistake and break it so that is why I was cautious. I'm back in business. Thanks again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
