...which isn't through good shooting.

Hogs 2 and 3 went down just fine, but 1 was a problem and he was the start and end of the hunt. Forgot to turn on the rifle video until halfway through the hunt, but what it caught was the frustrations of being overly excited and having to move from the stand to the ground to confront a large, wounded boar.

I will be working on my offhand shooting in the upcoming weeks.

3 real hits, jaw, chest, and shoulders plus one graze across back, that I could find, plus 4 pistol shots to side of chest and one to head.

Turns out, a fourth hog, a boar was later found dead down in the creekbottom. So 3 hogs with one shot each and one problem hog, sheesh.

Don't know if the hole is from scavengers or is an exit wound. No entry wound found, but no attempt at muscling around the bloated carcass was made.

cool video. I had one do that same thing. spined it on the run, another in the jaw and chest. so a 9mm to teh back of the head was enough to finish it.

I can say hogs gotta be the most relentless animals on this planet. they dont like to make it easy.
