I recently inherited a Hawes 21 .22 revolver and was wondering if anyone on the forums can give me any info on it or if anyone has any experience with it.
I know nothing about it and would like a little history.
Thanks

They were made in Grmany. Inexpensive and sold by Herter's. Other companys probably sold also. I don't believe it was the Germans finest hour. 1 was for sale on gun auctions in 2010 with holster for $198.00

Parents bought me one when I was 16 to carry on my trapline( that was a different era). My buddys and I would go to the local dump on Sunday set up bottles along the pit and shoot them, first time I fired the Hawes the guys on either side went squealing off the line thing sprayed lead like mad they made me stand forward of the line if I was going to shoot it. Barrel on mine was loose would wobble when you shook it. I did shoot a squirrel out of a tree one day while checking traps just a unlucky squirrel.
