Heading To South Dakota Pheasant Hunting in Oct

I just sent my deposit of 500.00 for my Pheasant hunt in WhiteLake SD. Will be hunting from Oct 24 to 31 . Is anyone else going after Ringnecks this year??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
 
Just the deposit is 500 bucks? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif Holy cow! That must include room and board plus open bar.
 
500.00 is halve the price for the hunt. The hunt is 1000.00 . This includes room and board, three meals per day all you can eat , transportation to the field . Not to bad for six days of hunting and seven night stay and all the food with no hidden cost. License are extra and you pick those up at the local sporting goods store. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif The web site says four days of hunting but he going to let us hunt six for the price of four. We have been there before .

I'm going to SD Oct 22-31. Hunt 5 days at a private place(6,000 acres with lodging) then camp out for 5 days with my dogs. It's always a good time. I hunt coyotes in the AM then birds at noon.

Good luck to ya on your hunt. We were out there in 2005 and had a blast. Only bad part was the heat. 80 degrees opening week. Man it was hot.
 
The last time i was there it was hot one day and then cool the next . The weather is very unpredictable the last of Oct and around the 1th of Nov. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
