Blue isn't permanent Red & Green are, Blue or Purple should be ok, I have a Contender in 445 Supermag with a TSOB mount from SSK that I did have to use Red on If I ever get rid of it the mount can go with it.The first time I shot it the whole scope & mount left the gun after 5 shots and SSK installed it.
