Help with choosing a new powder measure

Okay... I have been "satisfied" with my inexpensive but serviceable powder measure. But, I am considering a new powder measure. Is there any significant differences, features, etc? The Hornady seems to require a bit more "fiddling" to get it setup... Thanks

I just recently purchased a kit with the RCBS chargemaster and all I can say is wow. I have used my step dads scale and powder trickler a few times and this is about 100x better then that. Don't know if it could get much better really.

My dad has been using the hornady electronic one for about 3 years now. He told me he should have got something like it long ago. Said it made reloading enjoyable again. I picked the rcbs chargemaster up a year ago, and like it so much more than the beam scale and powder measures I have had. No fussing around setting it up dumping powder over and over again trying to get it set right. Just calibrate the scale and powder cases.

Yes!
I dumped loads from a Redding measure and trickled up to the charge weight for a long time. It works great, but the Chargemaster is just a little faster and a little less labor intensive.

+1 Harrell measure.

Heavy extruded powders will not dispense well from any measure, but this measure is pretty darned consistent, and it is a pleasure to use with the roller bearings on both ends of the shaft.

For powders such as 4895 or R15 or the ball powders it is spectacular.

I have a Lyman , Lee perfect , forrester , and a Redding . They all work well with ball powder but the larger stick powers only meter well through my Lee and Forester . The forester is more difficult to adjust but when set is the best . I use the Lee more because it is simple and very repeatable .

Lyman DPS3,4 or 5. They keep making upgrades and the newest one is a compact with touch screen instead of keypads. I have had the 2 but sold it to my cousin so I could upgrade to the 3 with the auto refill when pan is put back on empty. Love mine and never had any issues with them.
