about 25 years ago, a guy i knew bought a .223 semi auto.
if memory is right, i think it was a wood stock with a clip.
i also don't think it was an AR style.
it was a handy little rifle.
does anyone here have an idea what it could have been.
i don't think it was a familiar name rifle.

What was the "clip" for?

It's called friendly conversation, OT, lighten up a bit.

I really wish reliability and accuracy was more consistent on a mini-14. They'd be a cool walking rig without too much weight. Just too many bad reports for me to drop the coin...

I'm thinking maybe it is a HK 630. I knew a guy that had one that's the only reason it came to mind. It is a nice rifle. Hard to find.

OT, if you had a booger hangin out your nose or your fly was down, I would tell you, so you didn't look a fool. Because I'm a friend.

yes... its the h-k. thanks guys.
was thinking how cool that would be to have one and rebarrel it in 17-204

has anyone here shot one??. any issues with feeding/jambing????

If you watch the Predator Quest video originally made by Les Johnson his brother Jeff shoots one in 223. Major Boddicker of Crit'r Calls out of Colorado shoots one in 308. Kind of spendy if you can find one.

I think a couple guys on here have an HK630 and wish I did.
This is one gun that should be brought back. They have sold for up to 2500 or more on gun sites. Worse is the HK05 scope mount that is no longer made, they can go for 750 and up now.
