I know nothing about Leupold CDS, but........if (and I don't know if they do or do not) they offered the dials in MOA or Mil, personally I would get that instead of one marked for yardage. This way if you wanted to change loads, or elevations, or move scope to a different rifle you wouldn't have to have another dial made. Again, I don't know if Loopy offer these or not. I understand that some guys would prefer to have yardage and then range and dial versus adding the step of making a drop chart to reference.

Yep...they will cut them just MOA or MIL.  You can add or subtract hash marks, styles thereof, etc.


A CDS dial is too situational for me.  I hunt in too many different conditions to have them be correct all the time.  MILs and Math are...
