Hodgdon Hybrid 100V

Anyone have any experience with this particular powder? I keep seeing it pop up everywhere and looking at the reloading data from Hodgdon, it seems to run the 270 bullets at a pretty good click. I am moving back to Missouri at the end of the month so I will be able to hunt with a rifle again during deer season so I want to start working on a 130 or 140 gr berger vld load for deer and thought about giving it a try. Any info on using it in any caliber is much appreciated. Thanks!

I use it in my 243 win w/88berger and 300wsm/185 berger. Best of three powders I tried with those weights. My chronys have been acting up lately, but groups are good and repeatable.
I use H-100 v in 300WSM w/ 185 bergers, 243 win w/ 88 bergers. It does seem to jump around in the velocity department for me, but my shooting chrony isn't an Oehler either. I say if you don't have an oehler, the crony readings could be corrupt. The groups i get acts like the velocity is good.

In my 270 win BAR I'm using the 135 SMK & H4831. A little slow, but accurate. Waxed a yote the other day @ 115 yards. Love the muzzle break & watching the hits.

I am using it in a 6mm ai with the 87 grain vmax. Very happy with it so far. Accuracy is very good but I don't have a chronograph so my velosity is unknown. Heard it might be somewhat temperature sensitive but I have not noticed any problems in my rifle yet.

I tried it in 243 and 25-06 with two well-known bullets in these exact guns.

I then took the remaining 4,000 grains and lit it on fire on my driveway..... THE END, lol

I was wondering if it would be sensitive since it is not listed as an extreme powder.

Do you have any issues with temp sensitivity?

It is my powder of choice in my 6mm Rem with 95 Ballistic Tips. Great accuracy and really good velocity.

I had good luck with it in a 25-06 as well, but dont use it there anymore.

Have no answer as to its temperature sensitivity.

But have used H100V over the last few years in a number of cartridges: 6mmRemington, 243win, 6.5x55, 257Roberts, 7x57, 7mm08, and 308win. Chuckle, you will not find any load data for using it in a .308....Sierra Quick Load data was given me to give it a try. Might take playing around with different bullets, powder charges and etc., but generally have had nice results for accuracy with H100V

Gave a pound of it to a shooting buddy, who is very serious about his reloading and shooting for accuracy, to try. He had good results with it. He will phone another serious reloader/shooter about it and he will try it. After first time at range with it, he calls back and asks, how come we never heard anything about this powder before?.....I'm impressed with it.
