Hodgdon's new reloading site

I think it sucks. Use to be able to choose different powders and bullets weights. Now its one bullet weight and one powder. Could be I'm to stupid to figure it out but as of now I don't like it to much.

I did not know they changed it. Just went in and it sucks. It was nice to select multiple powders to compare. I could only do 1 at a time also.

Never tried Hodgdon, I like Nosler's data

That sucks. I really liked the old one. It was really easy to reference loads for a couple different shot gun gauges quickly.

I found it online once when I was too lazy to walk to loading room and someone asked about a load. Most of my loading books are not as old as I am, but some are approaching it. :) The on line versions cover lots more calibers/powders than my library.

If you just dont choose a bullet weight of exact powder it will put the load data out in an excel type chart based on bullet weight. I find it easier to compare loads than the old one.

WOW. I guess I'm a bit slow to catch on. That does work. Thanks for posting that!

I've been using the hard copy of Hodgdon's (#26 copyright 1990) for years and like it very much, except for lacking newer calibers/powders. Thanks for posting this link, I'll be using it along w/Noslers.

Found the Hodgdon load data on the computer last night. Now I can’t find it in my phone. Finallly found it

I use & like the Sierra android app for reloading rifle and pistol loads.
it shows several powder types (10-20) for the projectile selected.
You are limited to Sierra's projectiles, but they have plenty enough to find a similar one.
As a bonus, it has a slider at the bottom that selects velocity, giving a live view of charge wt for each powder at that velocity
It is easy to see min and max charge per powder that way, and which powders work or don't work.
Like any software tool, it has a learning curve, but not too bad.
Also use the Hodgdon www site as a 2nd opinion.

I didn't know they updated it until I saw this thread, and, yes, I will throw my hat into the, "it's horrible" ring. I don't know why they had to mess with it. I thought it was a perfect layout before.

I find Hodgdon's data to be very hot at times. I try to use other sources if possible. Nosler is good, I like my Speer reloading manual as well.
