About 2 weeks ago I set off a Fruit Punch scented Hog Bomb in an area that has had hogs off and on for 2 years. I also filled a 20" deep post hole with corn at the site.
Two days after I put these out, we had about an inch of ice and about 6 inches of snow fall on top of the ice. My trail camera had picks of lots of black birds, crows, several raccoons and a bobcat over 10 days. The corn posthole is now under about 6" of water since the snow and ice are melting. That should "season" the corn a bit...
The other site that I baited about 300 yards away, which had a fresh wallow prior to baiting, didn't have any hits either. I'm calling foul (weather) on this one... Once I have a pic or two of hogs on the camera, I'll try another Hog Bomb. I did use some of their "sow in heat" after hanging a bucket feeder above the wallow site and clearing a couple of shooting lanes there.
