Hogue Overmold Stocks

I am looking to upgrade my factory Ruger M77 Hawkeye in .243 Win. There do not seem to be a lot of aftermarket replacements for this gun (I think the M77 MKII stocks fit the Hawkeye too).

Right now I am leaning towards the Hogue overmold with the full bedding block.

I want a solid, durable synthetic stock that is more rigid than the factory stock, and doesn't require much custom fitting.

Anyone have experience with this stock, or success with any others?

If no one else out there is shooting a Ruger with an aftermarket stock, Anybody have experience with the Hogue stocks on other guns?

Yep
i have a Rem.700 sps tactical in .223 that came from the factory with a Hogue Overmold, a Rem 700 in .270win and .300wby both with the Overmold and a 10/22 with the overmold.
Can you tell....I LOVE THEM,
No slip grip, Non scratch, Non reflective w/ no glare, absolutely impervious to the elements and warmer to the touch in winter, and very quiet.
Mine are all the ones with the Aluminum bedding block inside. accuracy is good and only one required a bit of trimming to insure full float barrell. At about $120 a good value!
Just my opinion!!

There is a difference between the "full aluminum skeleton" and aluminum "pillars". To my knowledge Rem's only have the pillars. There isn't any reason the full skeleton wouldn't be as good as the HS and BC models.
