Homemade Decoy From A Electronic Cat Toy

I had an old electronic cat toy laying around. My cat wasn't that crazy about it, so it just sat in the closet. I got a crazy idea the other day to try and turn it into a predator decoy. So, with a couple pieces of pvc, camo duct tape and some rabbit hide, here's what I wound up with:

Haven't tried it in the field yet. Think it'll work? Any suggestions to make it better?
Thanks.

Very cool......a MoJo in slow mo!
I have a MoJo critter, but sure wish I had seen this before I bought mine!
It ought to do the job very well!
Good luck......

I made one from that toy too. I Krylon painted it, and tried some different tops for it as well. A little more bulky to carry than a Mojo, but it works! Good luck.

Wonder how the cat would have reacted with a feather attached to the skins? I believe the added feather gets cats or yotes attention better than just the skins.

I woulda just used the cat as a decoy!!! Theres no decoy loke a live decoy. I hate cats. At least u found a good use for the cat toy

Is the weasel toy very loud? Does it make any noise? Does it start and stop, reverse or pause between running? I'm thinking I will get one and make my decoy.
Thanks, Flyrodder

The Weasel Ball does make some noise, its either on or off, no pause or reverse.

I'm sure someone with an electrical background could figure out how to do all of the above.

I'm sure its just a matter of adding the right components.

Best of luck, Lee
