hornady lock n load bushing question

I noticed that my lock n load bushing insert seems to wiggle a little when the press cams over while sizing cases, is this normal?

is the bushing wiggling in the press? if so does it have its o-ring still in place? i had one break/come off somehow/get lost on me that did the same thing.

its the bushing that is on my die that moves making the die move, yes the o ring is on it, I only put them in hand tight but when it cams over the whole die wiggles. It may have always done this but I just noticed it recently

If mine are completely cammed in…which can take some force…I've never noticed any movement at all. Are you absolutely certain it is rotated solidly into position? And the die is set solidly into the bushing by the lock nut?

I just did some more checking, I tried all of my dies and the movement is side to side not up and down. If I put in a die, I can wiggle it side to side and that's the movement I see when it cams, all of my bushings do it. its not a lot of movement but it is a noticeable amount, either its normal or my insert in the press is out of spec. the press is pretty new as well

I had there single stage press that done the same thing... I sold it!

I had there progressive press also and never noticed that with it!

contact hornady about it.

i've dealt with their CS department a couple of times for small issues (usually my fault too) and they've been more than helpful over the phone.

i'm more than comfortable they'll make it right for you.
