How can I tell is my Remington 600's trigger was replaced?

I just received the gun today and know Remington had a trigger recall on this rifle. I can I tell if the trigger has been replaced. A friend of mine whos a gunsmith told me there is a triangle on the replacement trigger. Mine dose not have one on it.

Some were repaired not replaced. The quick method to tell is to (with unloaded rifle of course) with closed bolt set safety then try to lift bolt handle. If you can't it hasn't been fixed. If you can it has been fixed.

On the side of the trigger there should be a "V" stamped into the metal if the recall work was done. You may have to remove the stock to see it. Details are on the Remington site in the recall notice.

No V, which I was told about as well, and with the safety on the bolt will not lift. I'll give Remington a call and have them run my serial number.

If you can't lift the bolt handle with the safety "on" then it hasn't been replaced. I used to have a 600 and got rid of it. Wish I had another one.
