How dense of a trap line is good for coyote?

Not that I plan on running a 100 mile trap line or anything but, I was wondering what would be good coverage of an area.

The area I plan to trap is several thousand acres and access is pretty good. I did go out and scout a bit and found that coyote sign is plentiful everywhere I looked for it.

Should I separate my sets by a minimum distance? I do plan on making some sets close together but want to cover the area pretty good too. I probably won't have more than 40 or 50 traps to use.

I like to just set the main travel ways. Cow trails coming down to stock damns, trails along fence lines, power line roads, any where next to a creek or river, where fence lines come together at an intersection. Before I started trapping I called a lot of coyotes and used that to my advantage when I started trapping the same areas I used to call. Where I had called coyotes in and where they came from, what trail they were on, etc.
When I find these spots I would put 3 or 4 sets in on a 1 mile loop, then head down the road a ways and do the same thing. This year I am going to set 2 traps at every location (within a few yards of each other) and then head down the road. I saw a lot of sign where other coyotes would come visit the one caught so hopefully start picking up the doubles more often this way.

You always want 2 sets per location as once a coyote gets caught other coyotes will come around. With 50 traps you should have 25 locations with 2 sets per location. After a week of locations where your not catching can be moved to other locations.

Ridge runner is doing it my way, I will gangset, 3 or 4, at major areas. I dont let distance between dictate as much as two travels areas meeting. Then as stated, move as needed.
