how do you make a simple coyote call?

hi yall, i am very new to the art of call making. i was wondering..how do you make a simple wood call, turned on a lathe for a yote? and also, i happened to have access to alot of pecan, hedge, hickory, walnut, and possibly some olive(this one may come in the future) what/which is best for a simple call? i would like to know the size of the wood, and step by step how to's.
