I wouldn't go back to that exact spot until next year. However, if you can find a good vantage point to call from maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from that spot, and since you say you didn't shoot at the coyote, I'd give it a try in a couple of weeks. Another caveat--don't use the same sound again in that area until next year. Find a totally different sound. You usually can't fool the same coyote with the same sound from the same spot during that same calling year.
