After Jan 15th if I get 2 or more I AM HAVING A GREAT DAY.
The only time I hunt after Feb is if I am doing coyote control on some cattle ranches I have gotten in good with.
during the calveing season.

I first heard about this guy from Neb. about 10 years From Major Boddiker.
Told me he was one of the best around. Yep it was you Q.
I have read alot of your post you Know what you doing.
And here you put it all out to the many variables that can make or break a day.
The year that was my best (2001) I took 3 weeks off during Sept & Oct and Hunted coyote for 21 of the through 3 states

I put a few of my better prime coyotes up myself. I also give most know to a mink rancher whoi gives me $15.00 for each one. I don't even need to skin them.
Pays the gas.

Well here’s my records for the last five years
2001 shot - 20 coyotes
2002 shot -17 coyotes
2003 shot -18 coyotes
2004 shot -18 coyotes, 18 trips out, lost 4 coyotes, 83 set ups, called in 41 coyotes that I saw. Who knows how many I missed seeing.
2005 - we started last week of September. So far, we have shot 31 coyotes, lost some, set ups 81, called in a total 68 that we saw, and this is in 22 trips out. Some of these are all day trips and some are half day trips out. All calling has been done with mouth calls only. Some trips were by myself and some with a couple of friends.
We have a lot of areas to call coyotes. It’s a blast to go out and convince the coyotes, with hand calls, that you’re dinner! I’ve even had golden eagles and some large owls swoop down on me while calling, and they’ve come in from behind & knocked my hat right off my head! Talk about getting your attention and not to mention a need to change your Huggies undies, ha ha ha!!!! GENE’O
 
I could probably shoot a few more coyotes a season,but at the end of November my brother and I will start messing around with calling some cats.With not much luck may I add. But it is fun to go after them.I tell myself at the end of each season I am not going after cats next year,and I'm going after the coyotes more, but by the following November I find myself trying again.LOL Good Hunting Chad
 
i usually only get out about 5 days a year and call in a few anamials. This will be my third year trying,
first year i killed one coyote and one bobcat, that is all i called in and i killed them both.
second year killed one coyote and called in one other and a bobcat.
i havent been out this year but i hope to kill two this year.
